Hartest Choir

Just a quick reminder that this Tuesday 28th and Dec 5th - we will be starting to practise our Carols in readiness for our Carol Singing Around The Village on Monday 11th December - (5 pm at the Church). Gerald - Ericas friend - is kindly accompanying us this Tuesday - so although a few of us can t manage to attend we thought we d send a reminder out just so you know that its all on track and to let you know when we re off!

Please support us if you can - we d love to have you along,...our village, lovely school & church SO need the support. We ll have a giggle, get to meet more of our neighbours, which is so important in this time when social isolation is a growing issue. So many struggle so much over Christmas - with financial pressures or just sheer loneliness,...Lets get together and create the type of sound and atmosphere most villages around here used to enjoy!

Please let all your friends & relations know - all are welcome not just from Hartest!

There is a Xmas Hat competition with very nice bottle of wine on offer as the prize for the TOP Hat (& something yummy for any child who comes along with any sort of Christmas hat!)

Just in case you were wondering - this year I will be mainly wearing a very jolly snowman hat,...

Anyway - just to let any new village members - this is for all those who liked to get to know their community in these lovely villages of our better. We are primarily social - although we sing in church every 5 weeks and if requested at Christenings and Weddings.

We have a few professionals to guide us and we are making some increasingly pleasant sounds! You would be very welcome to join - some have sung to a certain standard but most of us havn t - all are enjoying singing together equally! We meet in the church for practise sessions at 6.30 - 7.30 Tuesday evenings.
