Hartest Parish Council / Church / School & Institute have put together 2 days of celebration in the village.
Monday June 4th - 10pm. Meet at the Crown Inn to walk to the Chadacre Park Mausoleum Site for the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon, this is listed as part of the National Chain of Beacons. There is a footpath to follow, but no access for cars.
Tuesday June 5th - midday - Bring your picnic to the village green and join other families, there will be maypole dancing and lots of fun for the whole family.
To celebrate the Jubilee each household will receive a JUBILEE MUG and will be eligible to 2 free half pints of Greene King IPA from the Crown Inn.
