This years competition was a great success with 18 competitors taking part at the glorious Bury St Edmunds golf club. We were blessed with fantastic clear blue skys giving unbroken sunshine and perfect playing conditions.
There were a number of prizes on offer to the competitors of which James Kidby hit a great shot into the par 3, 2nd to win nearest to the pin. The short Par 3, 9th proved to be a lot trickier than it seemed with Graham Barker hitting a great shot to within a few feet to pick up the prize there and for the big hitters the Longest Drive was a monster hit by our reigning champion Ewan Donald.
The main event was obvously for the prestigious Hartest Cup so in reverse order;
In third place was Mike Lewis with a score of 36 points. In second place with a score of 37 points was Phil Tullet
The winner with a score of 39 points and retaining the trophy was Ewan Donald.
Thank you all very much for your support and we look forward to much more golf and next years event.
