Jo's Birthday

The club celebrated one of our founder members 80^th Birthdays during July.

We presented Jo Pask with a Sorbus tree which we then planted on the front lawn of the Institute.

We had great fun digging the hole to plant it only to discover some water pipes, so a second hole had to be dug, the `workers` had lots of advice from the bystanders when it came to getting the position just right!

We then had a delicious birthday cake made by Val Seal, one of our membersl. The whole evening was great fun and we still managed to play some bowls! Happy Birthday Jo!
