There was a good turn out of regulars and newcomers to the recent singing morning in the Institute.
New and Old songs were taught and mastered, ranging from Maori to Latvian songs, with a few others inbetween.
The morning was led by Sue Parlby who always manages to get us sounding like angels. Although a lot of concentration was needed, it was interspersed with lots of laughter.
There is no need to read music as everything is taught by ear, as long as you enjoy singing in a crowd you will love this!
The next singing morning will take place in the Autumn, so watch this space for advance dates.................
